Tonight's Instant Index:

Bond. James Bond. Our person of the day - Bond. James Bond.

It's what many fans are calling long overdue. After half a century, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced this year's Oscars will feature a tribute to 007. Specifics of the tribute are being kept under wraps, including whether there will be a special appearance by the notoriously reclusive 81-year-old Sean Connery, the original James Bond.

A Star Is Born Our picture of the day comes from Germany. Kidogo, a 12-year-old Silverback gorilla, has been captivating visitors to the Krefeld zoo with his rare acrobatic talents. He was brought over from a zoo in Denmark to mate with two female gorillas, and appeared to be homesick, so zookeepers installed the tightrope for him to swing from. Now, a star is born.
