Back to California Dunkin' Donuts announced today that it would be opening 150 stores in Southern California and 1,000 stores across the state starting in 2015. The company said many of the new stores would have drive-thru service.

Conrad Bain Dead at 89 Conrad Bain, the TV dad who taught viewers that the world doesn't move to the beat of just one drum, has died at the age of 89. Bain played the beloved adoptive father on "Diff'rent Strokes." His daughter said today that he was a lot like Mr. Drummond in real life, but more interesting.
