Moona Lisa Engineers at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland successfully beamed an image of the " Mona Lisa" from Earth to NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, a spacecraft that has been orbiting the moon since 2009.

Avalanche On a snowmobiling trip to Afton, Wyo., in January 2012, one of Joe Gill's friends almost didn't survive. Gill filmed as his friend just barely outran an avalanche on his snowmobile. The incredible video was released today.
