Best in Show The Westminster Kennel Club is welcoming two new breeds to its annual dog show next month. For the first time, Treeing Walker coonhounds and Will Russell terriers will be able to compete.
Walk the Line Daredevil Nik Wallenda was at it again today in his hometown of Sarasota, Fla. The man who conquered Niagara Falls safely traversed a much smaller gap on the high-wire this afternoon - 180 feet in the air without a net or safety rope. Wallenda walked across the 600-foot span in about nine minutes.
Music Legend Today, the U.S. Postal Service announced that it has selected Johnny Cash as the first artist to grace a new stamp in a series that will honor music legends. Cash was chosen by the postmaster general from 40,000 suggestions. The stamp will be on sale later this year.
