Kayla Slone, the singing Walmart cashier that "World News" recently featured, is about to achieve her dream. Slone will perform two songs at the Grand Ole Opry on March 23. She says that the Opry just called her up out of the blue.
Scientists at Georgia Tech studied more than 200 acceptance speeches from the Academy Awards and found that men were more likely to wave the statue in the air, while women were more likely to cry. Both sexes were more likely to thank Mom than Dad.
