The Talking Shoe Experiment

First it was computerized glasses, now Google is showing off a "talking shoe" at SXSW, designed to get people moving.

The computerized sneakers have a bit of an attitude. They will remind you when you've been sitting for too long and when to pick up the pace. They also give updates on how you are doing during your workout and post the results on your smartphone. As time goes on, the shoes collect information and even develop a personality. They are not for sale yet.

The Baseball Brawl

Saturday night's World Baseball Classic game turned ugly in the ninth inning. Mexico was losing badly and when a Canadian batter was hit by a pitch, both teams engaged in an all-out, fistflying brawl. The announcer pleaded with everyone to remain calm but it was only after some players were ejected that the game eventually resumed and Canada won handily.

Justin Timberlake joins the 'Five Timers Club'

It was a night of reunions last night on NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

Justin Timberlake's fifth gig hosting SNL landed him in the ranks for the so-called "Five Timers Club," which includes Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Alec Baldwin, Tom Hanks, Candice Bergen, and Drew Barrymore to name a few. "SNL" generations came together when Steve Martin and Dan Akroyd's "Wild and Crazy Guys" appeared in a skit with Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg's singing duo.
