Instant Index Update on Girl Scout Troop in Oregon

A girl scout troop in Portland, Oregon was duped out of thousands of dollars, after someone falsely ordered 6,000 boxes of cookies. Troop leaders told ABC News that they have now sold 3,000 of those boxes, after people in the community stepped up to help the troop. ABC News aired the story last night and since then the troop has received more than 400 e-mails from people looking to buy the cookies. Cookies cannot be shipped outside of their territory, but they can be bought by those looking to help out. The troop will then donate the cookies to a local homeless shelter.
