Panda Watch at the National Zoo There is a panda watch under way at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Scientists say the female giant panda may be pregnant. She has been building a nest, is sensitive to noise and her hormone levels are high - there's no word yet on whether she's craving ice cream. The zoo has closed part of the panda exhibit so she can have some privacy.
