Gavin DeGraw Performs at 35,000 Feet A Southwest Airlines flight from Phoenix to Los Angeles got more than passengers paid for this week when singer Gavin DeGraw jumped up to perform over the loudspeaker. The performance was part of the airline's "Live at 35? concert series, which features artists surprising customers at 35,000 feet. A Southwest spokesperson said DeGraw, 36, sang in front of the plane and engaged customers and employees. He also signed autographs.

Boater Survives in the Water Without Lifejacket for 18 Hours An ordinary fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico went awry for 51-year-old Steve Moumouris. He sent pictures of his big catch to his wife but when he didn't come home, she called the police. Rescue crews searched by air and sea and 18 hours later, a good Samaritan found Moumouris alive, floating without a lifejacket seven miles from where he'd launched his boat. It's still a mystery how he ended up in the water.

President Obama Reveals Puppy Sunny Not Potty-Trained Millions of American families can relate to the Obamas' latest problem. President Obama revealed today the newest addition to their family - their puppy Sunny - is "not completely potty-trained."
