2-Year-Old’s Adorable Birthday Message for Mom
A stay-at-home dad in New Jersey just might be in the running for “husband of the year.” Faced with his wife’s birthday and the need for a “wow” present, he enlisted the help of his daughter Claire, 2, who definitely is not camera shy. “Hi Mommy!” she said in a video message. “I love you so much. There’s a lot of reasons why. You are amazing, you’re the best cook, you work so hard and I miss you when you’re gone. Happy birthday!” Dad loaded the video on Mom’s iPad and Mom said it was the best birthday present she’d ever gotten.

Sir Paul McCartney gave a surprise concert in Times Square today. The 71-year-old gave fans just 30 minutes’ notice but fans descended, all armed with their smartphones to capture the moment.

Indy 500 Winner Dario Franchitti Walks After Crash
After a horrific crash at the Houston Grand Prix this weekend, Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti walked out of the hospital today. He had a cast on his leg, a brace on his chest and his two dogs, Shug and Buttermilk, by his side every step of the way. Just four days ago, the race car driver crashed into a fence, fracturing his spine and ankle. His teammates said Franchitti was texting and calling from his phone again, a sure sign he’s on the mend.
