Tiger Cubs Take Swim Test at National Zoo There was a rite of passage this week for two little ones at the National Zoo. In order to be allowed to live with mom in the sanctuary, two 13-week-old tiger cubs had to prove they could swim in a moat. Each took a swim test to prove they could keep their heads above water and make it back to dry land.

Elk Tries Out Trampoline An elk was captured on tape giving someone's trampoline a whirl in Colorado. The elk's family was curious by the trampoline but not brave enough to join him.

Man Soars Above Mount Fuji Yves Rossy, also nicknamed "Jetman," hopped off a helicopter this week and took to the skies around Mount Fuji. The visit to Japan was just the latest of Rossy's joyride locales, which have also included the Grand Canyon, and the city of Rio de Janeiro. Read more of his story here.
