Handful of Nuts a Day May Help You Live Longer New research from one of the longest studies ever conducted looking at health and long life has found that eating a handful of nuts a day dramatically reduces the risk of death. Those who ate nuts every day were 29 percent less likely to die from heart disease and 11 percent less likely to die from cancer. The research comes from Harvard and Brigham and Women's Hospital.
