G olden Globe Nominees Announced This year's Golden Globe nominees were announced this morning. Nominees include "Scandal's" Kerry Washington and "Modern Family" as well as some television shows that are not actually on TV including Netflix series "House of Cards" and "Orange Is the New Black." The snubs are making headlines too. The Showtime thriller "Homeland," which has taken top drama and acting honors in the past, was passed over as well as fan favorites "Mad Men" and "Game of Thrones." And after all that buzz for Oprah Winfrey for "The Butler," her name was also left off the list.

James Bond Consumed 92 Shots of Alcohol a Week, Researchers Find Researchers at the British Medical Journal did the math to calculate James Bond's drinking habits. They combed through the original Ian Fleming books and found that Bond consumed, on average, a staggering 92 shots of alcohol a week. That's up to 50 shots a day, which would put the invincible Bond at risk for liver disease, impotence and alcoholism.
