The Best Beach in the U.S. In the midst of this bitter winter with spring just two days away, TripAdvisor has released the Travelers' Choice Awards for beaches. Lanikai Beach in Oahu, Hawaii, came in first in the Top 10 beaches in the U.S. Ka'anapali Beach in Maui came in second with Siesta Key Public Beach in Siesta Key, Fla., rounding out the top three. Baia do Sancho in Fernando de Noronha, Brazil, took first prize for best beach in the world. Lanikai Beach was the only U.S. beach to place in the top 10 best beaches in the world, coming in eighth place.

Swarm of Bees Delays Red Sox - Yankees Game Rain delays are common in baseball but an exhibition game between the Red Sox and the Yankees in Florida today saw something unusual. At the bottom of the third inning, a Boston outfielder saw a swarm of bees in left field. The swarm halted play for seven minutes until a ground crew shooed the bees away with cans of bug spray.
