Beyoncé Tops Time Magazine's 2014 '100 Most Influential People' List Beyonce landed at the top spot in the Time 100, Time magazine's annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The tribute to Beyoncé inside the magazine is written by Sheryl Sandberg, a female force herself in the tech industry whose book, "Lean In," encourages women to take charge of their careers and lives. "Beyoncé, 32, has insisted that girls 'run the world' and declared, 'I'm not bossy, I'm the boss,'" Sandberg writes. Beyoncé topped other entertainment stars like Pharrell Williams, Seth Meyers and Kerry Washington in reaching Time cover status, as well as influential political, business and cultural leaders like Hillary Clinton, Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
