Couple Arrested Over Valentine’s Day Role Play

One couples’ bondage role play on Valentine’s Day ended in handcuffs, but not the fuzzy kind.
Portland, Ore., police received a call Tuesday afternoon that a naked woman was tied up in the back of a Subaru last seen leaving a supermarket parking lot.
Police deployed “at least nine cars” to look for the SUV and even alerted authorities in Washington in case the car crossed the state line.
Twenty minutes later, the Subaru was seen pulling into the driveway of the registered owner’s address.
Nikolas Harbar, 31, who was the driver, told police that he and his girlfriend were “doing some Valentine’s Day role playing.”
Once police confirmed with Stephanie Pelzner, 26, that she was voluntarily nude and tied up, they slapped a pair of cuffs on the couple and booked them on one charge of disorderly conduct in the second degree.
“Role-play all you want,” Sgt. Pete Simpson told ABC affiliate KATU. “But when you do something that is going to generate a 911 call, you should probably do it at home.”

My hat off to the citizens who reported the possibility of an abduction. Please don’t let this stop you from doing so if you see anything out of the ordinary after this. I hope the Courts make an example of this couple. It’s a shame this ignorant couple did not think of how the public would react. I’m glad people get involved now. I’m glad people have finally started taking notice of the possibility of an abduction or any crime and reporting it. Too long we lived in a society that no one wanted to get involved and if they had, may have prevented a crime of robbery, abduction, rape or even murder.

Why this couple should have a criminal record, even a Class B misdemeanor, is beyond me. The Oregon law doesn’t say anything about how many cars the police use to find you, or about how naked you are in you own backseat.
The Good Samaritans did what they are supposed to, but the police made up a charge to let themselves feel as though they did not waste their time.

Look people. you can have fun. But not in public. It is a crime and the police were right in what they did.

Of course they should have a criminal record. She was naked IN PUBLIC. They used TAX DOLLARS and valuable POLICE TIME to process these idiots. They should ALSO pay a fine to compensate the police department for their time, time which could have been used to stop a REAL crime. Idjits!

First , the police need to learn when to back off and when to kick it in gear … and second , oral sex is still a crime in Indiana even in your own house . How many couples do you want to bust tonight …Better yet , just mind your own . The world will be a lot better off …

Um when is tying your wife up and putting her in the back of the car hot and sexy? Sorry to each of their own but they probably didnt think anyone would see. And Jin, your right. Oral Sex and sodomy is still illegal in most states. Lets all call 911 on half of your neighbors. This is was just stupid, dont think it warrants an arrest though.

A couple was trying to spice up their love life. So what? Police don’t give a crap about the law. Issue a citation, but don’t be an a-hole and arrest the poor couple on Valentines day. Never trust the police.

To issue any citation just because someone called 911 is completely idiotic! People call 911 all the time on half baked suspicions or because they need a ride downtown and the ambeelance runs 24/7 and they aren’t cited. No crime apparently was commited so “Dick Tracey” came of with a trumped up rationale to justify low brow cop behavior. I wonder how long into the booking process it was necessary to keep Ms. Pelzner naked and bound?

“TO PROTECT AND TO SERVE”, no based on the information I was given in this report, the call appears moreless to be concerned that a woman has been endangered… The police failed to serve their purpose. Obviously here in this case, they are not protecting anyone, and they are not serving anyone.
And that is the most dispiccable thing about this case.

Sometimes it’s necessary not to mind your own business but the police need to learn when to back off and issue a warning. We are on to the criminalizing effect that is rapidly spreading across this Nation, and it does not constitute the abiding law of the law enforcment’s purpose.
You cover police who pour cinnamon in a special needs childs’ mouth.. yet what are you doing about the real criminals?

I do agree they needed a citation for scaring the public & wasting the officers time. But this is hella funny… I think they were probably arrested by a jealous cop that wasn’t going to get any
