Just as "Good Morning America" announces the smallest weekly total viewer gap with "Today" in five years, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! has quickly become the leading morning news show website.  The first official comScore report on Goodmorningamerica.com on Yahoo! was released earlier this week and revealed that 28 million viewers visited the five month old site versus Today.com which had an online audience of 13 million.  Twice as many people made Goodmorningamerica.com their online destination for around-the-clock news and robust video beating out all of the competition.

Additionally, Goodmorningamerica.com's traffic broke expectations landing more than 148 million page views in February compared to Today.com's 53 million - that is three times as much monthly traffic to the Today.com.  The 24/7 companion site for "Good Morning America" has tripled its monthly traffic and grown 25% each month since its launch in early October.

Video traffic reporting from comScore for February 2012 - the first month officially including goodmorningamerica.com - will not be made available until later this month.
