ABC News and Yahoo! News' "Power Players" Political Series Hits 4.3 Million Unique Visitors* in April and Becomes the 8th Most Watched Series Online

  Users Spent Nearly 9 Million Minutes* Watching Power Players Episodes Featuring George Stephanopoulos, Jake Tapper, Jonathan Karl, Amy Walter and David Chalian

In April ABC News and Yahoo! News' politics-focused original digital video series "Power Players" shot to the number 8 most watched original videos series online according to a custom report based on comScore Media Metrix.   In its fourth month since launching, 4.3 million people watched the breakout political program.  In total, users spent 9 million minutes in April - that's 150,000 hours - watching the political program.

The "Power Players" series features ABC News and Yahoo! News anchors and correspondents every weekday including "George's Bottom Line" with George Stephanopoulos, "Political Punch with Jake Taper," "Spinners and Winners" with Jonathan Karl, "Top Line" with ABC News Political Director Amy Walter, "World News with Diane Sawyer" Political Editor Rick Klein and Yahoo! Washington Bureau Chief David Chalian and "Politically Foul".

The breakout political online series is just one of the five original video series ABC News and Yahoo! News have launched since announcing their premiere news partnership in October 2011.  The series,  including  "Around the World with Christiane Amanpour," "Katie's Take" with Katie Couric," "This Could be Big with Bill Weir" and "Newsmakers" featuring ABC News and Yahoo! News exclusive interviews, have been streamed more than 66 million times [Yahoo! internal data].

According to a custom report based on comScore Media Metrix data for April, the top 13 online video series belonged to Yahoo! when based on unique viewers. The same report also revealed that the original video programs produced by Yahoo! Studios were watched by one-in-six online Americans - that is 37.1 million unique visitors.
