ABC's David Muir interviewed Gov. Romney July 29 in Israel

Interview to First Air Tonight, September 26 on "World News with Diane Sawyer"

With both President Obama and Mitt Romney campaigning in the crucial state of Ohio today, "ABC World News" weekend anchor David Muir is scheduled to sit down with Gov. Romney this afternoon in Toledo, OH. The interview comes just one week before the first Presidential debate and amid new poll numbers showing the Romney campaign losing ground in several key battleground states.

Muir's interview with the Republican candidate will air tonight on "World News with Diane Sawyer" (6:30 p.m., ET) and tomorrow, September 27 "Good Morning America" (7:00-9:00 a.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Muir has interviewed Gov. Romney several times over the course of the campaign, most recently for a wide-ranging interview in Israel on Sunday, July 29.
