Other reports airing Friday night include:

  • In September 2010 as Connie Hoagland, a San Diego daycare worker and mother of three left work, the unimaginable happened, playing out like a scene from a mob movie.  Connie got in her car, turned the key in the ignition and an explosion erupted. Detectives discovered a pipe bomb, meant to kill. Hoagland would survive the blast but who tried to assassinate this loving suburban housewife and why? Her husband Larry Hoagland seemed an unlikely suspect. The couple had been married for 25 years, raising a beautiful family in San Diego and active in their church. Detectives would soon uncover the person behind the bombing and a life caught in a web of lies.  Elizabeth Vargas reports.
  • Raymond Roth and his Jon son went to the beach on Long Island, New York this summer. Jon says his father went in for a dip in the ocean, and disappeared. There was a massive search, but no sign of Roth. So his grieving wife Evana was surprised a few days later to come across a series of emails making it clear, at least to her, that reports of Raymond Roth’s death had been greatly exaggerated.  Chris Cuomo reports.
  • Plus, Chris Connelly reports on celebrity look-alikes.
