"This Week with George Stephanopoulos" Posts its Second Best Performance of the Season
" This Week" Gains in Overall Viewers Year-to-Year in All Six Weeks of the Season
On November 4, 2012, ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" drew 2.886 million Total Viewers and 913,000 Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research. For the 3rd consecutive week, the ABC public affairs program improved on its week-ago numbers (2.824 million and 896,000, respectively, on 10/28/12) in Total Viewers (+2%) and Adults 25-54 (+2%), posting its 2nd-best performance of the season in both measures.
"This Week" out delivered its year-ago numbers by double-digits in Total Viewers (+21%) and Adults 25-54 (+23%) - 2.385 million and 743,000, respectively, on w/o 11/6/11. In fact, the ABC public affairs program has posted gains year to year in all 6 weeks of the season in Total Viewers and in 5 of 6 weeks in Adults 25-54.
"This Week" beat CBS' "Face the Nation" by +34,000 Adults 25-54 viewers.
Season to date, " This Week" is up sharply in Total Viewers (+22%) and Adults 25-54 (+28%) versus its year-ago season averages, delivering its strongest numbers in 4 years - since the 2008-09 season.
