"GMA" #1 in First Full Week of February Sweep

"GMA" Outperforms NBC's "Today" by 641,000 Total Viewers and Scores Largest Demo Lead Over NBC in 6 Weeks

"GMA" Continues to Grow Year-to-Year and Season-to-Date in Demo and Total Viewers While "Today" Declines by Double-Digits

ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked No. 1 during the first full week of the 2013 February sweep in both Total Viewers (5.385 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.043 million) 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research. For the week of February 4, "GMA" outperformed NBC's "Today" (4.744 million and 1.994 million, respectively) by+ 641,000 Total Viewers and by +49,000 Adults 25-54, leading the NBC morning program by its largest news demo advantage in 6 weeks - since w/o 12/24/12.

"GMA" improved on the year-ago week (4.919 million and 2.022 million, respectively on w/o 2/6/12) in both Total Viewers (+9%) and Adults 25-54 (+1%). NBC's "Today Show" (-16%/-21%) posted double-digit losses year to year.

On Wednesday, February 13, of the current week, "GMA" outdelivered "Today" by +1.010 million Total Viewers (5.434 million vs. 4.424 million) and by +237,000 (2.168 million vs. 1.931 million), based on Nielsen Fast Affiliate time period data. This represents "GMA's" largest single-day Total Viewer margin over "Today" since November - since 11/28/12.

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" is leading "Today" by its largest season margin in overall viewers (+525,000) in more than 21 years, and in the key adult news demo (+65,000) in 21 years - since at least the 1991-92 season and since the 1991-92 season, respectively; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991.

Season to date "GMA" is up in both Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 25-54 (+2%) versus its year-ago averages, standing as the only morning newscast to grow in the key adult news demo (NBC's "Today" is down -15%/-21%, respectively; CBS' "This Morning" is mixed +7%/flat, respectively). "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in 7 years and best Adult 25-54 performance in 4 years - since the 2005-06 and 2008-09 seasons, respectively.

For the week, "GMA" beat "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+73%) and Adults 25-54 (+71%).
