Martha Raddatz to Speak with General Joseph Dunford in His First Television Interview Since Taking Command of Coalition Forces in Afghanistan

The Commander of U.S. Troops in South Korea Will Talk to Raddatz in an Exclusive Interview About Recent Threats from North Korea

ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz to report from two international hot spots in the coming week - Afghanistan and the Korean Peninsula. She will report for all broadcasts and platforms including "Good Morning America," "World News with Diane Sawyer," and "Nightline." In addition she will host special editions of her weekly "On the Radar" program on Yahoo!.

Martha Raddatz is currently in Kabul, Afghanistan. At a moment of renewed tension with the Afghan government, Raddatz will speak with Gen. Joseph Dunford in his first broadcast interview since taking command of coalition forces in Afghanistan. Just weeks into his command, he faces a challenge from President Hamid Karzai who has claimed the Taliban is "in the service of the United States." The trip also comes hot on the heels of John Kerry's inaugural trip to Afghanistan as Secretary of State.

As North Korea orders its forces onto its highest state of alert - targeting U.S. Forces in Guam, Hawaii and the American mainland - Raddatz will travel to the Korean Peninsula. She will report from the Demilitarized Zone between South and North Korea and speak exclusively with Gen. James Thurman, the commander of U.S. troops in South Korea.
