Nothing goes together quite like Las Vegas, wedding chapels, gambling … and now Denny's.

Nancy Levandowski and Steven Keller of Ames, Iowa, both in their 50s, became the first couple to tie the knot at Denny's new in-house wedding chapel in Las Vegas Wednesday evening, walking down the aisle in front of friends and relatives.

"We'd been looking for a special couple that had a special connection with Denny's," Frances Allen, chief marketing officer for the restaurant chain, who attended the nuptials, told ABCNews.com. "When Nancy first approached us, we knew she was the perfect candidate." Denny's covered all costs of this inaugural wedding, including flights and accommodations.

After saying their vows before a minister in the chapel area of the restaurant, the couple shared a slice of the "Pancake Puppie" wedding cake and raised a toast with "Grand Slamosa" cocktails. Guests at the wedding indulged in Denny's cuisine and captured memories in a Denny's photo booth.

Levandowski (now Keller), director of Iowa State University dining, reached out to Denny's, expressing her wish to get married there after learning about the in-house wedding chapel at Denny's on Fremont while reading Food Network magazine. Keller, a territory sales manager, met his new bride online three and a half years ago. Both had been married before.

The couple were traveling throughout the day Thursday and could not be reached by ABCNews.com.

Being food-lovers, Allen said the two had been captivated by the idea of having a wedding in a place that they thought really reflected what they were about."They wanted something that would be very memorable and unique," said Allen.

"Believe it or not, people have been getting married in Denny's across the country for many years," Allen said. "I think that's why most couples choose it as a special place to exchange their vows."

Since the inaugural wedding, Allen said interest in future weddings at the Las Vegas Denny's chapel had been tremendous. Basic wedding packages start at $95.

"We've been inundated," Allen said. "We'll probably have to set up some separate line."
