"GMA" Continues to Grow Year-to-Year and Season-to-Date: Increasing by Double-Digits in All Target Demos Year-to-Year While "Today" Declines

"GMA" Continues to Outperform CBS "The Morning" Across All Target Demos By Triple-Digits

ABC News' "Good Morning America" stood as the week's No. 1 morning program in Total Viewers (5.233 million) , Adults 25-54 (1.902 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.383 million) for the week of June 17, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" led the No. 2-ranked NBC's "Today" (4.323 million, 1.730 million and 1.318 million, respectively) by +910,000 Total Viewers, by +172,000 Adults 25-54 and by +65,000 Adults 18-49. Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! reached 24.4 million users in May 2013. It is the No. 1 morning news website and beats Today.com by millions of users each month.

"GMA" has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers in all 38 weeks of the season. In fact, the ABC morning newscast has ranked No. 1 every week in Total Viewers for 10 months (the last 44 weeks - since w/o 8/13/12). Further, "GMA's" 44 consecutive weeks at the top stand as its longest stretch at No. 1 in more than 21 years - since before the 1991-92 season; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991.

Winning the week in Adults 25-54 for the last 9 weeks, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in 32 of the 38 weeks this season. In addition, "GMA" led the week in Adults 18-49 for the 17th time this season. In fact, the ABC morning program is delivering its highest number of No. 1 finishes in both key adult demos during a season in 20 years - since the 1992-93 season.

For the 6th time in the last 7 weeks, "GMA" posted across-the-board improvement on the year-ago week (4.459 million, 1.625 million and 1.224 million, respectively, on w/o 6/18/12) : Total Viewers (+17%), Adults 25-54 (+17%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%), growing year-to-year in overall viewers in all 38 weeks this season. In contrast, "Today" (-6%/-6%/-4%) has not only seen losses year-to-year in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 in all 38 weeks of the season, it has turned in losses for the last 44 weeks, starting with the week following the 2012 Summer Olympics (since w/o 8/13/12).

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. The ABC morning newscast is leading "Today" by its largest season margin in overall viewers (+668,000) in more than 21 years and in the adult news demo (+84,000) in 20 years - since before the 1991-92 season and the 1992-93 season, respectively; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991.

Season to date, "GMA" is up in both Total Viewers (+8%) and Adults 25-54 (+3%) versus its year-ago averages, growing the most in the key adult news demo (NBC's "Today" is down -12%/-18%, respectively; CBS' "This Morning" is up +12%/+2%, respectively). "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in 8 years and best Adult 25-54 performance in 5 years - since the 2004-05 and 2007-08 seasons, respectively.

For the 2nd week in a row, "GMA" outdelivered "CBS This Morning" by triple-digit margins in all target demos: Total Viewers (+102%), Adults 25-54 (+128%), and Adults 18-49 (+141%) .
