The Streets of Tehran Seen Through a Car Window

Most Americans know very little about life in Iran. These snapshots taken through a car window show a glimpse into daily life in Tehran.

AFP photographer Behrouz Mehri captured street vendors hawking their goods, a family sitting in a street cafe, women chatting on the street.

With the camera lens out of sight, these Iranians appeared not so different from us.
