ABC's Middle East Correspondent Alex Marquardt was in Cairo as the Egyptian revolution started in 2011 and has crisscrossed the region covering the historic Arab Spring from Tahrir Square to Benghazi to Damascus. Marquardt reported from Cairo last November when Tahrir Square filled with protesters after President Mohamed Morsi granted himself new unchecked powers.
