12-Year-Old Boy Accused of Robbing Lemonade Stand With BB Gun

ABC News Daniel Rapaport reports:

A 12-year old Johnstown, Pa., boy was arrested Wednesday for allegedly robbing a lemonade stand with a BB gun.

"The lemonade stand was being run by a 10-year old, and a 12-year old boy approached him with a BB gun and basically robbed him," Johnstown Police Captain Andrew Frear said.

After a brief scuffle, the older boy ran off with a box that contained about $30 before a few friends then joined the victim in chasing the robber home in the Cambria County city about 70 miles east of Pittsburgh, police say.

"The boys were all familiar with each other, so it wasn't difficult to spot the suspect," Frear said of the boys whose names were not released because of their ages.

Police said the 12-year-old will face charges of robbery and recklessly endangering another person.
