Alleged Thief Enters Meat Shop Through AC Unit

Police in Philadelphia are on the lookout for a man who allegedly broke into a butcher shop through an air conditioning unit and stole $2,000.

Surveillance cameras inside Dave's Meat Market in North Philadelphia captured the man crawling into the shop early Monday morning.

Police say he forced an air conditioning unit into the wall and then slid his way through, according to ABC News station WPVI-TV.

Once inside, the suspect took about $2,000 in cash and then exited the same way he entered, through the entryway where the air conditioning unit had been located.

Police describe the suspect as 30 to 40 years old, wearing a baseball cap, khaki pants and sneakers.
