Christmas Bash Clash Leads to Crash

An allegedly jealous wife is sitting in jail accused of running over her husband outside of a Christmas party.

Model Christina Forrest, 24, and her 34-year-old husband went to a holiday party in Queen Anne, Wash., on Saturday where the man told police that his wife began to act "jealous and angry."

His wife left the party and then called her husband to come outside to talk to her and they continued to argue in the car, police said.

"During their argument, her husband got out of the vehicle and started walking away. His wife drove towards him and hit him," Officer Mark Jamieson told ABC News.

A Washington State Patrol trooper saw Forrest driving away in an erratic manner and pulled her over, police said

"She was believed to be intoxicated by the officer and was eventually arrested for domestic violence," said Jamieson.

Forrest was arrested and charged with assault. She is being held in King County Jail in lieu of $75,000. Her husband, whose name was not released, was taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries to his face, wrist and legs. He is in stable condition.

According to officials, the husband and wife have been married for a year.

Forrest, who is being held on $75,000 bail, has not entered a plea.
