Pope Francis was riding his popemobile through the Vatican Wednesday, waving and shaking hands with an exuberant throng, when he motioned for the vehicle to stop and pick up someone in the crowd. The Catholic News Service reported that the delighted hitchhiker was Fr. Fabian Baez of Buenos Aires, "a great confessor," according to #Francis. The pope also stopped to give some advice to newlyweds in the crowd, CNS reported.
