Tributes to slain Venezuelan beauty queen Monica Spear have poured in on Instagram, as fans comment on the last video clip the soap star and mother posted just hours before she was gunned down.

More than 10,500 people have liked a short video Spear, 29, posted on the photo-sharing site, filmed without comment as sunset over the plains, or llanos, of Venezuela.

Spear, named Miss Venezuela in 2004, also posted a short video on Jan. 5, in which she blows a kiss to the camera as she rides a horse, an unexpected kiss goodbye to her fans.

Spear and her estranged husband were killed on Monday night by armed robbers on an isolated stretch of highway after experiencing car trouble. The couple was murdered in front of their 5-year-old daughter, who survived the attack, according to authorities.

Police have arrested five suspects.
