Gold-medal skier Julia Mancuso took a crack at showing her softer side in a racy photo shoot for GQ magazine.

Mancuso, 29, who won gold in Turino in 2006, and took home two silvers in Vancouver in 2010, is expected to medal again in Sochi.

"It is not a shock to me when I have a good race," the alpine skier told the magazine. "I started to tell people I'd just worn my lucky underwear."

Judging from the skintight catsuit she wore for the shoot, it's pretty clear she left her lucky bloomers at home.
