Wanted: One-Legged Tire Slasher of Epic Proportions Driving Ice Cream Truck

A spate of tire slashings in a Massachusetts town is attracting some major attention due to the suspect's unusual proportions and choice of getaway vehicle.

Witnesses described the suspect as a 300-pound, one-legged man driving an "ice cream style truck," according to police in Southborough, Mass., who are investigating the slashings that occurred in a parking lot during the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

Oh, and he's about 6-foot-8, police said.

Officers were called to Owen O'Leary's Restaurant and Pub at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday after a man who was refused service was spotted slashing tires in the restaurant's parking lot, according to the police report.

The suspect, a white male, had a southern accent and left the scene in a "large, blue, ice cream style truck," police said, noting that tires were slashed on ast least seven cars.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect or his vehicle, according to the report.

The Southborough Police Department did not immediately respond to a call by ABC News seeking comment.
