Winter Olympics 2014 Results: Day 12
The United States stalled at fourth in the overall medal count on Day 12 in Sochi, with Germany, Norway, and the Netherlands ranking narrowly above the U.S.
Still, America is tied with the Netherlands for the greatest number of overall medals - 20 in total.
That medal count rose today thanks in part to freestyle skiing champion David Wise - who took home gold in the halfpipe - and Alex Deibold, who garnered a bronze medal in the snowboard cross finals.
