The New Jersey teen who eluded security and climbed to the top of 1 World Trade Center has apologized for his actions.
Justin Casquejo, 16, received both support and backlash on social media after he found his way into the construction site Sunday of the unfinished 1,776-foot tower and ascended to its 104th floor.
The teen tweeted out a message today, saying he did not mean to offend anyone.
I seriously apologize to anyone who may have been insulted or felt disrespected by my actions. It was not my intention to do so.
