Tiny Wash. Town Transformed After Mudslide

It's now Day 5 in the search effort, and while it may be slowing down, the sleepy town of Darrington is waking up.

The quiet mountainside community has been transformed into a busy search hub, filled with hovercrafts to access the mud zone, ambulances, fire trucks as well as media from across the country.

The search is being coordinated in the operation center right off the main road.

That same road once brought access to the mudslide zone but is now blocked to the media.

ABC News crews were turned away and told the only people allowed past the end of the line are emergency response teams.
