FROM SIMON & SCHUSTER ON "HARD CHOICES:"
"Hard Choices" will be released by Simon & Schuster on Tuesday, June 10. In her highly anticipated book, Secretary Clinton offers a candid view of what it will take for the United States to lead the world in the 21st century and why it matters to the lives of every American.
"Hard Choices" is also the story of her unlikely partnership with President Obama, as a "team of rivals" became an unrivaled team on the biggest stage of all.
The book begins with the conclusion of Clinton's historic run for President and then leads readers through the challenges, choices, and crises of her four years as America's chief diplomat, with the country facing two wars, an economic crash, threats from Iran and North Korea, competition from China, and unprecedented upheaval across the Middle East.
Clinton brings us behind the scenes during some of the most dramatic and difficult moments of the Obama Administration, from the raid that brought Osama bin Laden to justice to a face-off with Vladimir Putin, and shares personal reflections from a life on the high-wire of international diplomacy.
