May is Foster Care Awareness Month and the Disney-ABC Television Group is partnering with a coalition of nonprofit organizations and foundations to raise awareness of the nearly 400,000 youth in foster care today.
Public service announcements to promote FosterMore, a campaign to change the perception of young people in foster care and provide resources for individuals interested in making a difference, will air across Disney-ABC Television group platforms throughout the month.
“Each of the 400,000 youth in foster care today represents potential and a future yet to be realized,” David Ambroz of the Disney-ABC Television Group said. “We are proud to support this effort to encourage opportunities to help these young people succeed.”
