ABC’s Facebook Account Tops 4 Million “Likes” in May

For a record 27 consecutive months the Yahoo-ABC News Network has maintained its premier position as the leading source of news and information online. Last month the combined network continued its winning streak in the digital news space, serving more total page views to more unique visitors than any other news source, according to desktop-only data provided by comScore.  The Yahoo-ABC News Network has remained #1 for more than two years, delivering 2.2 billion page views to 74 million unique visitors in April. Additionally, the Yahoo-ABC News Network held the #1 position among other broadcast and cable networks for unique video viewers in April, totaling nearly 31 million unique viewers for the month.

In April GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo continued to lead the way in site and video viewer size over NBC’s Today. As America’s #1 morning news show website, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo delivered nearly 11 million more unique viewers and 2 million more unique visitors compared to Today. Additionally, 19.1 million unique visitors turned to GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo in April for the latest breaking news, health, entertainment and lifestyle content 24/7.

Last week, just one month and 12 days after crossing 3 million likes on Facebook, ABC News’ account surpassed 4 million likes on Facebook. On average ABC News’ Facebook posts are reaching 30 million people a week, with an average post receiving over 1,000 shares and reaching 500,000 to 1 million each time.
