Leading in Total Viewers for 7 Straight Weeks and in 12 of Last 14

"Nightline" Posts Week-to-Week and Year-to-Year Increases in All Key Demos

Season to Date, "Nightline" Leads CBS in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54, and Adults 18-49

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 for the week in Total Viewers (1.482 million) and Adults 25-54 (647,000) for the week of June 30, 2014, according to Nielsen Media Research. Delivering its longest winning streak in its new time period, "Nightline" has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers for 7 consecutive weeks and in 12 of the last 14 weeks.

"Nightline" posted week-to-week increases (1.448 million, 575,000 and 450,000 on w/o 6/23/14) in Total Viewers (+2%) , Adults 25-54 (+13%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%).

"Nightline" also improved on the year-ago week (1.371 million, 546,000 and 438,000, respectively, on w/o 7/1/13) in Total Viewers (+8%) , Adults 25-54 (+18%) and Adults 18-49 (+12%).

Season to date, "Nightline" leads CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" across the board: Total Viewers (+250,000), Adults 25-54 (+87,000) and Adults 18-49 (+48,000).

Note: Due to the July 4th holiday, all three programs were coded specials on Friday and each telecast was excluded from the averages. The weekly averages for all three programs are based on 3 days (Mon-Thurs).

ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Dan Harris, Dan Abrams, and Juju Chang. Almin Karamehmedovic is executive producer. The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:00 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Together with "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Nightline" is part of ABC's winning late night strategy of airing news and entertainment programming.
