"GMA" Posts Across-the-Board Gains from Previous Week, Hitting New Season Highs

Over "Today" in More Than 23 Years

ABC News' "Good Morning America" stood as the No. 1 morning newscast in all key target demos: Total Viewers (5.718 million) , Adults 25-54 (2.131 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.539 million) during the week of November 10, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.

"GMA" beat the No. 2-ranked "Today" (5.097 million, 1.896 million and 1.483 million, respectively) by 621,000 Total Viewers, by 235,000 Adults 25-54 and by 56,000 Adults 18-49. In fact, increasing its week-to-week advantage for the 2nd week in a row in both Adults 25-54 (+48% - 235,000 vs. 159,000) and Adults 18-49 (+211% - 56,000 vs. 18,000) , "GMA" turned in its largest margins of victory over the NBC program in 6 weeks - since w/o 9/29/14.

Posting across-the-board gains from the previous week (5.678 million, 2.031 million and 1.483 million on w/o 11/3/14) to hit new season highs in Total Viewers (+1%) , Adults 25-54 (+5%) and Adults 18-49 (+4%) , "GMA" attracted its largest overall audience since April and best key adult performances since May - since weeks of 4/28/14, 5/19/14 and 5/19/14, respectively.

Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in all key demos: Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49. "GMA" is leading NBC's "Today" by 756,000 Total Viewers, by 208,000 Adults 25-54 and by 34,000 Adults 18-49. In addition, "GMA" has more than tripled its season margin over "Today" versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+201% - 208,000 vs. 69,000), and is now leading "Today" in Adults 18-49 this season.

Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season, "GMA" is seeing its largest season margin over "Today" in Adults 25-54 in more than 23 years - since at least the 1991-92 season (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991).

During the week, "GMA" beat "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+63%) , Adults 25-54 (+101%) and Adults 18-49 (+114%) .
