ABC's "This Week" Beats NBC's "Meet the Press" by Season-Best 268,000 News Demo Viewers

ABC's "This Week" Only Program to Grow Week to Week and Year to Year in Both Total Views and Adults 25-54

Compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" and NBC's "Meet the Press"

"This Week with George Stephanopoulos" ranked as the No. 1 public affairs program in Adults 25-54 (937,000) with a season high performance for November 16, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. This Week" outdelivered NBC's "Meet the Press" by a season-best 268,000 Adults 25-54 and CBS' "Face the Nation" by 35,000Adults 25-54.

For the 2nd consecutive week, "This Week" improved on its previous week's performance (2.595 million and 748,000 on 11/9/14) in Total Viewers (+18%) and Adults 25-54 (+25%). "This Week" grew the most week to week in Total Viewers and stood as the only program to increase in Adults 25-54 compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" (-8%/-9%) and NBC's "Meet the Press" (+12%/-2%).

"This Week" also saw gains on the same Sunday last year (2.824 million and 799,000 on 11/17/13) in both Total Viewers (+8%) and Adults 25-54 (+17%), as CBS' "Face the Nation" (-26%/-29%) and NBC's "Meet the Press" (-13%/-21%) turned in double-digit losses.

Season to date, " This Week" is up in Adults 25-54 (+4%) versus the same point last season. Competitively, "This Week" is leading NBC's "Meet the Press" for the first time at this point during a season in 18 years in Total Viewers (+174,000) and in 21 years in Adults 25-54 (+139,000) - since the 1996-97 and the 1993-94 seasons, respectively.
