"GMA" is #1 for the Week

"GMA" is Delivering its Largest Adults 25-54 Season Margin Over "Today" in 23 Years

"GMA" Nearly Triples Adults 25-54 Season Margin Over "Today" Compared to Same Point Last Season

ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (5.533 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.055 million) during the week of December 8, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" has taken the top spot in both measures in all 12 weeks of the season. In addition, "GMA" beat the No. 2-ranked "Today" (5.156 million and 2.001 million, respectively) by 377,000 Total Viewers and by 54,000 Adults 25-54.

Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in all key demos: Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49. "GMA" is leading NBC's "Today" by 692,000 Total Viewers, by 180,000 Adults 25-54 and by 8,000 Adults 18-49. In addition, "GMA" has nearly tripled its season margin over "Today" versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+177% - 180,000 vs. 65,000) and is now leading "Today" in Adults 18-49 this season.

Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, "GMA" is seeing its largest season margin over "Today" in Adults 25-54 in 23 years - since the 1991-92 season.

During the week, "GMA" outperformed "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+68%) , Adults 25-54 (+112%) and Adults 18-49 (+117%).
