In addition, "World News Tonight" cut its year-to-year quarter gaps (4Q13) with "NBC Nightly News" by double-digits in Total Viewers (-39% - 630,000 vs. 1.040 million) and Adults 18-49 (-58% - 123,000 vs. 291,000). "World News Tonight" turned in its closest 4th quarter performance with the NBC program in 6 years in Total Viewers and in 7 years in Adults 18-49 - since 4Q08 and 4Q07, respectively.

"World News Tonight" scored across the board gains from the year-ago quarter (7.928 million, 1.982 million and 1.367 million, respectively, for 4Q13): Total Viewers (+7%), Adults 25-54 (+8%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%). In fact, the ABC evening newscast attracted its largest overall 4th quarter audience in 7 years and best in Adults 25-54 in 5 years - since 4Q07 and 4Q09, respectively. "World News Tonight" outdelivered the "CBS Evening News" during 4Q13 by 1.478 million Total Viewers, by 437,000 Adults 25-54 and by 276,000 Adults 18-49, posting its biggest overall audience lead in 3 years and largest in both key adult demos in 5 years during a 4th quarter - since 4Q11 and 4Q09, respectively.

"Good Morning America" ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked as the No. 1 morning program during the 4th Quarter 2014 in both Total Viewers (5.536 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.057 million), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. Leading all 4 quarters of the previous 2 years (2013 and 2014), "GMA" has won the last 10 quarters in Total Viewers and the last 9 in Adults 25-54.

"GMA" led the No. 2-ranked NBC's "Today Show" (4.889 million and 1.889 million, respectively) by 647,000 Total Viewers and by 168,000 Adults 25-54 to win the 4th quarter for the 3rd straight year. "Nightline" beat NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (+252,000) and CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (+121,000) by its largest-ever quarter margins. In addition, "Nightline" led the CBS program by its 2nd-best-ever quarter advantages in Adults 25-54 (+111,000) and Adults 18-49 (+72,000), behind only 3Q14.

"Nightline" edged out its year-ago quarter performance in Total Viewers (1.709 million vs. 1.703 million for 4Q13) to draw its most-watched quarter ever in its new time slot. In fact, "Nightline" drew the Net's largest overall quarter audience in the time slot in 11 years - since 4Q03.

"This Week with George Stephanopoulos" For the 4th Quarter 2014, "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" averaged 2.848 million Total Viewers and 840,000 Adults 25-54, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research.

For the 2nd year in a row, "This Week" beat NBC's "Meet the Press" (2.703 million and 748,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+145,000) and Adults 25-54 (+92,000) during the 4th quarter, leading the NBC program by its largest news demo margin during any quarter in 17 years and biggest in overall viewers during a 4th quarter in 18 years - since 3Q97 and 4Q96, respectively.

Further, "This Week" has beaten "Meet the Press" in the last 6 quarters in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54.

"This Week" improved on the year-ago quarter in Adults 25-54 (+4% - 806,000 for 4Q13) to deliver its strongest 4th quarter performance in 5 years - since 4Q09. "20/20? During the 2014 4th quarter in its 10:00 p.m. time period, ABC's "20/20? led NBC programming ("Dateline-Fri"/"Constantine") by 9% in Total Viewers.

"20/20? was up over 4Q13 by 3% in Total Viewers, by 7% in Adults 18-49 and by 5% in Adults 25-54. In fact, "20/20? delivered its strongest numbers 4th quarter numbers in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 (tie) in 5 years - since 4Q09.
