With the holidays approaching, and my stress level increasing, cooking for large groups of friends and family seems impossible.  How am I supposed to muster up the energy, courage, and stamina to cook for these people without an IV drip of double espresso?

Luckily, Mario Batali’s latest cookbook, “Molto Batali” is the answer to my holiday food stress.  Each recipe in this book is delicious, perfect for groups of people, and sure to impress your snobbiest foodie friends.  After all, who doesn’t love Chef Batali’s Italian food during the holidays?

The book is organized by months of the year, which takes the guess work out of recipe selection.  Turn to the “October” section and you’ll find comfort foods like “Soft Polenta with Grilled Portobellos and Treviso” or “Baked Apples with Gorgonzola and Figs.”  Summer months have recipes like “Cool Beet Soup” or “Bucatini with Spicy Summer Squash and White Beans.”  From beginner cooks to advanced chefs, this cookbook has something for everyone.

Make sure to watch Chef Batali as he prepares some of his dishes from his new cookbook, “Molto Batali,” tomorrow on “ Good Morning America.”
