So I may have jumped the gun a bit when I reported on three Leap Year travel deals earlier this month. Since then, many more travel suppliers have jumped  in on the act. Which proves my previous point: If there's a holiday to exploit, the travel industry will do just that. Below, find several hotels and one airline getting in on the Leap Year fun.

Frontier Airlines:

To my knowledge, Frontier is the only airline offering a Leap Year sale. Great! But as with most airfare sales, there are a limited number of seats, a seven-day advance purchase requirement and a few blackout dates. Not so great. Still, kudos for the effort. Sale fares need to be booked by 11:59 p.m.  Feb. 29 for travel now through May 9, 2012. Sample one-way fares are $60  from New York to Milwaukee; $101 from Dallas to Denver; and $99 from Los Angeles to Philadelphia.

The Charles Hotel, Cambridge, Mass.

The four-star Charles Hotel's "Leap Into Savings" special takes the form of a flash sale. The deal - 29 percent off room rates - can  be booked only between 2:29 to 3:29 on Feb.  29, 2012. Simply book your room online, and the hotel will discount your rate.

Kimpton , select Virginia properties

The pet-friendly, eco-friendly boutique brand with the famous free wine happy hour is having a 24-hour "Leap Into Spring" sale on Feb. 29 for travel  between March 1 - April 15, 2012, only. Visit the website and enter rate code LEAPYR at checkout. Hotel Monaco Alexandria, Morrison House (pictured) and Lorien Hotel & Spa are the three participating properties. Rates start at $113.

Marriott, select Florida properties:

The "Stay Here, Fly There" deal gives two complimentary companion airline ticket vouchers for future flights within the continental U.S., plus a $100 resort credit with online reservations using the promo code  P91. What's the catch? You have to stay at one of the participating properties on Feb. 28 and 29.  Participating hotels include:

A word of advice:  Read the fine print, read the restrictions to make sure whatever deal you chose meets your travel needs,, and budget. A deal, after all, is only a deal if it works for you.
