Chicken soup can now fill your soul and your stomach. A new line of seven soups from Chicken Soup for the Soul Foods, a partnership between Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing and Daymon Worldwide, will launch in early 2013.
“Chicken Soup for the Soul,” the popular book which includes inspirational short stories and essays, has sold millions of copies worldwide since its release 15 years ago.
The first soup to lead the line will be a classic chicken soup packed with chicken, egg noodles and vegetables in a “signature broth.”
Six other flavors will join the line, including Creamy Tomato, Mushroom Barley, Country Style Squash, Sweet Corn and Chipotle and Hearty Black Bean. They can be purchased in 15 oz and 24 oz glass mason jars.
Focusing on health and convenience, the company has plans to expand to more than 100 products in 2014. Other items expected to launch include pot pie, gravies, casseroles, broths and stews.
