Don't let the tears fool you.

What appears to be a meltdown by 8-year-old Ella Clark of Forney, Texas, is actually just her typical, tearful response to good news, in this case that she will soon be a big sister to not one but two new siblings.

"Any time you give her good news there's a good chance tears are going to come," Ella's dad, Nathan, said of his "super emotional" daughter. "She's a good person to give good news to."

The good news for the Clark family - Ella and Nathan along with mom, Keteirah, and younger daughter, Ava, 5 - is that after three years of trying and three miscarriages, Keteirah, 31, is pregnant with twins.

When the Clarks got the good news at a doctor's appointment Tuesday that "things looked good" with this pregnancy, Nathan, 33, and Keteirah decided to share the happy news with their daughters in an extra sweet way.

"I went to a bakery and wasn't sure if they were going to be able to write anything on the cake because it was late, after 7 p.m.," Nathan Clark told ABCNews.com. "I texted my wife to see what to write and she said, 'We Are Having Twins.'"

"The baker said she could do it and when I told her the message, her eyes got really big and she repeated it like she couldn't believe it,'" he said.

When the Clarks presented the cake to their daughters, the two siblings, separated by three years in age, had two very different reactions.

While Ella cried tears of joy in shock, Ava asked, "Can I eat it?"

"You never know what she's going to say," Clark said.

Clark, an iPhone app developer, posted the video of the moment on YouTube and Facebook to share with family and friends. The original, nearly three-minute video is followed by a 15-second video of Ella continuing to cry.

"She kept saying, 'I'm so happy. I'm just so happy, just bawling her eyes out,'" Clark said. "She eventually called my dad and gave him the news but she didn't think she'd be able to tell him because she'd be crying so much."

Keteirah Clark is just 11 weeks along in her pregnancy but, already, her husband sees a future of lots of little helpers for when the newest additions to their family finally arrive.

"They want more little sisters," he said. "Ava is very motherly. She's super excited. She's always carrying around a baby doll."
