H&M Goes Bridal: Wedding Dress for Less Than $100
Be a smart bride.
If you don't break the budget on the gown, think of all the money you can spend on the shoes, flowers and venue!
H&M is doing brides across the world a huge solid by releasing their very first wedding dress for a whopping, drum roll please, $99.
Drawing inspiration from the vintage Hollywood glamour of the 1930s, the white flowing gown has a natural, fitted waist and beaded floral embellishment along the collar bone.
The affordable H&M wedding dress will be available in the retailer's ladies collection launching in stores and online later this month, a rep told GoodMorningAmerica.com.
The well-known brand had featured one wedding dress previous to this one, but it was from the Viktor and Rolf collection, rather than its regular H&M collection, and was sold for a less-fiscally friendly $349.
But H&M isn't the first big name to recently buck the bridal trend.
Zac Posen, designer to the stars, teamed up with David's Bridal to create a line of high fashion yet affordable wedding gowns in sizes from 0 to 26.
"If you are plus-sized, you can wear a Zac Posen dress," said Darcy Miller, editor of Martha Stewart Weddings. "You can get that red carpet look and still get it at an affordable price and in your size."
Brides walking down the aisle this coming wedding season can rejoice while relishing in all their excellent new economical options.
